About Pinchgate Patisserie

Pinchgate Patisserie, based in East Sussex, specialise in beautiful wedding and celebration cakes, cupcakes and my favourite patisserie.
As a young boy, I was always interested in baking and being lucky enough to holiday in France each year, I grow a taste for real French Patisserie.  I taught myself baking through endless trial and error, which produced many triumphs and a number of childhood failures.  It was in the 1980's that I decided to study bakery in Cheltenham.  My father worked in a local bakery and brought home a variety of ingredients to satisfy my interest at an early age. 
I hadn't considered a career in baking although countless requests and the odd prize at local fairs set me off on a new career.
Subsequently I set up my own business Pinchgate Patisserie.  Key to my philosophy is the use of the very best ingredients, which I define as local, sustainable and whenever possible organic.
Whatever your occassion, from initial consultation to the delivery and set up of your cake, I strive to give you a perfect result everytime.
